Sergio Alejandro Carrasco Paz

Sergio Alejandro received his Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and Electronic Systems from Universidad Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico) and a Master’s degree in Wireless, Photonics and Space Engineering by Chalmers University (Sweden).
He has worked with satellite communications, interferences, link budgets and most recently for his master thesis in the development of a dual polarized mmWave gap antenna.
Currently, he is in the Marie Curie EMPOWER-6G doctoral program, working at SIAE Microelettronica, where he is designing a state-of-the-art novel mmWave massive MIMO antennas to support CF deployments. For the first time in the fronthaul, integrating beam-steering and beam-sharing capabilities
